Well Built Safe Room

Let us take a little glance to 25th December 1989, the when the President of Romania was executed by a court. His government was toppled by a military coup. After his execution, the local television has investigate into his house and found that his house are full with many luxurious furniture, it is also include in this safe room. This room was built in very big size, complete with modern equipments for security and comfortable fixtures inside. Nicolae Ceausescu thought that he could hide in that safe room to avoid his fault way of leading the country, unfortunately his life was end with the bullet shot right to the center of his forehead and heart.

A safe room is commonly built for vital organization leader or individual in a business to private residence. The main reason to built safe room is for providing a short time safe place from the incident such as invasion, break-in house, terror, or other threat like natural disaster especially storm, tornado, or hurricane. These safe rooms are commonly built in the basements or some of them also in the same floor with other rooms. People are now become more desire and require building safe room.

A safe room is also known as panic room. It is completed with equipments for communication to the police office or security agents. A sophisticated safe room usually designed with the high technology of equipments to prevent the ballistic forces, whereas for the ordinary safe room is not. A safe room must be completed with: Cameras & Monitors, Gas Masks, Water in bottles & Long-lasting Foods, Ventilation and Radio communication.

To build a safe room some aspects are must be considered

1. Walls and ceillings. This part must be strongly designed, because it protect from the bullet attacks of intruders, or hard wind from outside.

2. Floors, must able to bare heavy load, because it includes all members of the family inside this room.

3. Doors. It must easy to be open by the owner in case of emergency situation and a secure locking system, in order to prevent threats from outside.

4. Sound insulation. To give more secure to the person in this safe room from being detected while the owner make communication to the police officers.

5. Bathroom, no doubt that a safe room must be completed with a bathroom, especially for the need of longer time to hide in this room.
